About Me
My name is Sharon Fitzmaurice. I have been on my spiritual journey all my life. I have had many good and bad experiences in my life to date and all of them have taught me valuable lessons. The most profound lesson I have learned is that I am in control of my own life, success, achievements, emotions and relationships. My main purpose has always been to help people in this life as I have been helped,not only by my Earth Angels but by the beautiful Angels that surround me each and every moment of my life, I thank them all sincerely.
Now as a Reiki Practitioner, Meditation Facilitator and Spiritual channel, I am so humbled to work alongside your Angels and Loved Ones to help you heal yourself. My dream of helping and working alongside people has come to fruition in my Practise and also in my meditation groups that I run locally and in Galway city. I am constantly learning from all that attend, we are growing spiritually together, sharing our fears and letting them go together. Meditation allows us to look inwards for the inner truth. Meditation
Meditation can help people pay more attention to their daily emotions, thoughts and sensations without reacting strongly to them. People often acknowledge and name their negative emotions in order to let them go.
With my groups I show them how to sit with themselves, accept and honour who they are right there and then. I will work through any emotional issues they may be facing either past or present, also on how to relieve stress and how to react in emotional or stressful situations. But the biggest bonus is you take time out to relax and just sit. Why not take time out for yourself.
Introduction to Meditation / Relaxation and Breathing Techniques.
I work with the group on teaching them how to relax and breath properly using a guided meditation. For beginners it is useful in learing to relax their bodies and minds in a group environment whilst being led by the facilatator. After the meditation we will discuss the benefits of meditation on mind and body and how it can be useful in their daily lives.
‘Who Am I’ meditation
Again this guided meditation will be an insight into which the person really is at that moment, letting them look at themselves or who they are ‘labelled’ to be. After the meditation we will have a discussion on their feelings and emotions on who they believe they are and what belief systems they have been brought up with. It is a good time for discussion between the group and on sharing their own views and opinions.
‘ Letting Go’ meditation
This meditation will look at core emotional problems that they believe have affected their lives up to present day, it will allow the group to face their fears and try and let it go, it gives them a chance to say it is okay to feel this way and let it go, in letting it go they allow themselves to heal emotionally. Discussion will follow afterwards.
‘Acceptance’ mediation
This meditation is again allowing the group to accept who they are and what they have done in the past, not to live in fear, guilt or shame or whatever emotion or feeling they have on their past traumas or failings. It opens them up to accepting their lives and all the things that have happened to or because of them.
: ‘Moving past your emotional pain’ meditation
This meditation allows you to look deeper than you ever have done before and really identify what the most painful emotional pain you hold in your body and why you do it. It works on releasing the pain through breathing techniques. Discussion afterwards
‘Forgiveness’ meditation
Probably one of the most important meditations for anyone to do as it allows the person to forgive themselves for whatever they believe they are holding onto that is not helping them move on in their daily lives, a very powerful and emotional meditation for all who participate. Discussion will follow afterwards.
‘Healing the Family’ Meditation
This meditation is particularly important as it allows the group to visualise all of their family members along with members that have passed on, to be ‘present’ during this healing meditation. It gives the person an opportunity to express (in their minds) what they may need to say to each person by means of an apology or forgiving them or maybe telling them what they really need to say but may not have had the chance or the opportunity to before.
’Visualise the Life You Want’ meditation
The group will have been asked to really focus and think about what they would like for themselves in the future, in this mediation they will be playing out that role as if they have already achieved it. It gives them a sense of achievement and empowerment in believing that they can make any dream come to a reality.
